McCahan Project - Bathroom Remodel
This Loveland Master Bath was in serious need of a fixture layout redesign. The shower was too small and the tub space needed more room. A few changes in fixture location and, voila, a more spacious bathroom in the same footprint.

Stage One Stage One:

A new shower with bench was built where the old shower and toilet were located. Cement board was installed under the new tile for structural integrity.

Stage Two Stage Two:

A new concrete shower base was poured in place with the future shower door channel embedded into the tile work.

Stage Three Stage Three:

Italian tile and stone with custom travertine shelves create an elegant atmosphere with enhanced functionality. A window enables additional airflow into the shower.

Stage Four Stage Four:

The area around the existing tub was redrywalled and retiled.

Stage Five Stage Five:

New tile countertops and new electrical outlets are amenities to simplify the use of the room.

Stage Six Stage Six:

A new light valance was built over the existing tub area. A combination of low voltage and standard lighting were used for variation in order to add interest to the room.

Stage Seven Stage Seven:

A new light valance above the vanities was incorporated to match the new construction over the tub. All lights are wired to dimmer switches for optional intensity control.

Stage Eight Stage Eight:

Shower complete with "ice edge" enclosure.

Stage Nine Stage Nine:

Three water sources in the shower for convenience: central rain head, standard shower head and personal shower near the bench.

Final Stage Ten:

Wall to wall mirrors add a touch of elegance.
